Maryland Pet Match Rescue
Welcome
Cat Matches Dog Matches
We do not operate on a first come, first adopt basis. We are interested in finding the best match for the dog and family, not the first home that shows up. You do not have to be there at the start of the event to be considered to adopt a dog.
Please help - If you visit us, would you also consider donating a bag of dog food or a few cans of food? Donations are down everywhere and food is a big portion of our budget. Kitty litter is also a need right now. We appreciate any help.
Wanted: A few good crates.
We are in need of some crates for dogs and kittens. We provide crates to foster parents while they are caring for our dogs and cats. If you or a friend have a crate that is just sitting around, we would love to have it. We will be able to put it to good use.
We have a Facebook page. If you have adopted from us, we would love to see how your new friend is doing. We would also like for you to share their stories with others and help promote adoption.

Bobby came to Maryland Pet Match a few months ago. He had some kind of injury to his back end. The injuries are consistent with someone possibly drop kicking him. He can walk and fully use all 4 legs. His tail does not move but that does not mean it is not wagging. He needs mild help in eliminating waste. He also does not have control of urination but he doesn't mind diapers.
Bobby loves to run and play like any other young pup. He is gentle and affectionate. See how he hugs his foster mom. We are in the process of trying to get an MRI for him. Your donations allow us to help dogs like Bobby.
Our Email Address has changed. You can now reach us at mdpetmatch@msn.com
We apologize for any inconvenience.
Please note: We only adopt to residents of Maryland and York County, PA.
Current needs:
Bobby - MRI, diapers
***Chief - Lyme's disease and associated complications - Unfortunately, our sweet boy passed away. We were so lucky to be able to give him some love and care before he crossed the rainbow bridge. RIP sweet boy. june 2010
Rock - after his heartworm treatment, we were informed he needs ACL surgery. February 7, 2011 - Rock was sent to the Rainbow Bridge. He was diagnosed with melanoma. Rest in peace sweet boy.
Maryland Pet Match could not do any of this without your support and donations. Schroeder, Bobby and all the other wonderful animals we receive thank you for help
